- In this job I prepare a variety of foods such as pizza slices, lasagna, salads, and other dishes. I also take orders and work the cash register. Furthermore I am responsible for cleaning and maintaining an open commercial kitchen.

- In this job I was responsible in a number of areas. These included regular interaction with customers from many different backgrounds in a diverse neighborhood, opening and closing the store, training new employees, placing orders with regional and national suppliers, making bank deposits and handling money, and numerous fixing mechanical and home improvement projects and problems.

Volunteer Experience
- Spring 2003 - Facilitated a student led class at UC Berkeley titled Geopolitics in Popular film. This involves all aspects of creating and running a course, such as writing a syllabus and lesson plan, leading discussions, and grading papers.
- 2002 to Present - UC Berkeley. I have been involved with the department of Geography at UC Berkeley in a number of capacities, mostly through my role (President from 2003-2004) in the Berkeley Undergraduate Geographers. These included organizing and advertising events, leading meetings, recruiting new members, writing funding proposals, redesigning the organization's web site, and serving as a link between undergraduate students and staff/faculty. I've also been involved in organizing the department's Ask a Geogeek project.
- 2001 to 2002 - Vista College. During the fall of 2001 and the spring of 2002 I helped to organize a series of Teach-Ins related to current events throughout the world. Speakers included Agha Saeed, by phone with Howard Zinn and Noam Chomsky. My activities included volunteer coordination, setting up email lists, and general event coordination.
- 1993 to 2000 - The Golden Gate Raptor Observatory. My work with the GGRO involved data collection, data entry, as well as interaction with the public as a docent.

- Interests
- My personal interests include blacksmithing, martial arts, bird watching, travel, and wood working. My academic interests include philosophy and environmental justice. I am currently a student coordinator for the Berkeley Undergraduate Geographers and the student liaison for the Ask a GeoGeek project at the Geography Department of UC Berkeley.

- Skills
- I feel that one of my most important skills is my ability to interact and communicate with people, both those with similar and with differing backgrounds, and both in one on one situations, and in groups.
Another important set of skills is my ability to use computers. I am able to use both Macintosh and Windows systems, and am readily able to adapt to new unknown software. A few of the software titles which I am familiar with are listed below. Furthermore I am adept in use of the internet, and am used to doing research through sources ranging from Google to Lexis-Nexis.
